Malpractice

  • Academic malpractice is considered to be any activity – intentional or otherwise – that undermines the integrity that is essential to scholarship. This includes plagiarism, collusion, fabrication or falsification of results, as well as other activities that result in unearned or undeserved credit.
  • Academic malpractice can result from a deliberate act of cheating or be committed unintentionally.
  • All students - full-time, part-time, distance, exchange, visiting, UK or international – are responsible for fully understanding the academic requirements that they must follow.
